World of Warcraft vs Upgrade Retail Box?

I recently presented to WOW and I liked it so far. I want to buy “the complete package.” Basically, I’ll buy the retail box versions of WOW Battlechest (World of Warcraft + Burning Crusade), Wrath of the Lich King’s plan Cataclysm. But I heard that to update an account where you download the game and receive a PIN, Blizzard officially knows you bought the game The thing is, I want to keep the retail boxes of games that I I bought and I heard a ridiculous information that even if you bought the retail box copies of WoW + BC + WotLK + Cataclysm, you will still need to update your account to a bloody highwayman . If this is the case, then the retail box is basically just copies installers. Ugh.Kann someone explain to me and confirm?

You still need an upgrade, yes, but what they mean is that you need the key you get from the CD sleeve to take, go online at Battle.net and the place these keys with your account. It works the same way with the purchase of digital upgrades. The only difference is they give you the key by e-mail or something etwas.Und course in both cases, any extension to update its own, you must first purchase a regular WoW and Burning Crusade and so on. You can buy either at retail or digitally that you have, and it is the same.
